High Tide Beach Party - April 8th

Neither high tides nor mixed weather conditions could diminish the party fun at Sunset Bar & Grill. The High Tide Beach Party was the second edition of a new Sunday-party concept at the island's most famous beach bar.

St. Maarten's best known DJs (DJ Bossman - Soggy Dollar, DJ EM - Sunset, DJ Outcast - Bliss, DJ Mr. Perfect - Bliss and DJ Yann Shaa - 747 Nightclub) performed again from afternoon into the evening hours, while MC Chet Euton energized the crowd during the election of the Sexiest Bikini Girl and the Sexiest Beach Hunk, sponsored by the Caribbean Camera Center.

Dayana Mota of Sunset observes: “Everybody has great fun at these Sunday afternoon parties – even if the weather doesn't cooperate. It just shows that Sunset B&G is the perfect setting for such an event with enough covered areas so that a shower is not a show-stopper.”

The Sunset Paradox: Bringing Nightlife to Daytime

For once, DJs were wearing their shades not for style, but for function: the sun was still up high at the time the Sunset Biggest Beach Party started. Featuring the leading entertainment talent of the island, namely BJ Bossman (Soggy Dollar), DJ EM (Sunset), DJ Outcast (Bliss), DJ Mr. Perfect (Bliss) and DJ Yann Shaa (747 Nightclub), even the high surf couldn't discourage a large crowed to celebrate the launch of a new event series at Sunset B&G. The stage was set facing the beach and blasting the tunes all the way up to Maho.

Of all the great location on St Maarten to take pictures, Sunset B&G is - without a doubt - the most exciting one!
